Molecular diagnostics experience, applied to a new challenge

For MiND Biosciences, the challenge of motor neurone disease is personal. Members of our team have seen its impact on people they love, including the uncertainty of diagnosis, the rapid loss of independence and the limited tools available to patients, families and clinicians.

We also see a scientific opportunity. Epigenetics has transformed our understanding of cancer and human development, yet its potential in neurodegenerative disease remains comparatively underexplored and has not translated into widely available clinical tools.

MiND Biosciences was founded to bridge that gap. Drawing on decades of experience in epigenetics, molecular biology and neurodegeneration, we are working to uncover the molecular signals of disease and translate them into practical blood-based tests. Our goal is to make diseases such as MND easier to detect, understand and monitor and ultimately help enable better care and more effective treatments.
